Competition Time

It’s competition time for Scottish Schools!

The Fuji Festival Education team need YOUR help to design a new logo for their website. The festival is a celebration of all things Japanese so this needs to be reflected in our new logo. You might want to think about calligraphy, origami or Japanese culture or landmarks in the country when you are planning your work, but it is up to you, design what you think is fitting for our new logo.

The prize for the winning school is an LED Ring Light 12 Inch and Tripod Stand along with a Green Screen  Background Screen to allow your school to make professional looking recordings, possibly about what they have learnt about Japan!

Designs would ideally be created on an A5 piece of paper and sent electronically to fujifestivaleducation@gmail.com. All enquiries and questions about the competition can be directed to this email address as well.

We are launching this competition at the beginning of our school term where in Japan in late August, the people of Anamori Inari-jinja Shrine in Ota City join priests to light handmade lanterns, asking Inari-sama, the god of rice, to grant their wishes. The competition will close on the 3rd November, which is Culture Day in Japan,  a day aimed at the promotion of Japanese culture and arts.  Hopefully we will be celebrating Japanese culture that day, too, celebrating the coming of our new logo!

Remember the competition closes on the 3rd November 2022 and is only open to Scottish Schools!
